Which NEOGEN product to start with?
The Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Pads Lemon are the essential entry point: the brand’s absolute global bestseller, gentle and effective exfoliating pads that revolutionize at-home exfoliation. For regeneration, complement with the Real Ferment Micro Essence.
Bio-Peel: Lemon, Wine, Green Tea, PHA — which one to choose?
Lemon: radiance and early signs of aging (AHA). Wine: anti-aging (resveratrol). Green Tea: sensitive or combination skin (the mildest). PHA: very sensitive skin (PHA = the gentlest exfoliant). Start with Green Tea or PHA if you’re a beginner.
How often should you use the Bio-Peel Pads?
1 to 3 times per week to start, then adjust according to your tolerance. Always use at night (never just before sun exposure). SPF is mandatory the next day. Avoid simultaneous use with retinol or other strong acids.
Real Ferment Micro Essence vs Pitera SK-II: difference?
Both focus on concentrated ferments. Pitera SK-II centers on Galactomyces alone. Real Ferment NEOGEN combines several ferments (rice, ginseng, Galactomyces) at 90% total. Comparable effects on radiance and firmness, NEOGEN is much more affordable.
Is NEOGEN suitable for sensitive skin?
With caution depending on the product. The PHA and Green Tea pads are very well tolerated. Lemon and Wine are more active — use with care. Real Ferment and Real Vita C are generally well tolerated. Always do a patch test first.
