GOD

god (지오디, short for “Groove Over Dose”) is a South Korean boy band from the first generation of K-pop. The group debuted on January 13, 1999 with “To Mother” and is still one of the best-loved acts in Korea. The five members are Park Joon-hyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young and Kim Tae-woo. Their fans are called fan god, and their colour is sky blue.

At Ma Petite Corée you will find the official god lightstick Ver.2, its pouch and the mini light keyring, plus official god merch from the ICONIC BOX concert: T-shirt, hoodie, ball cap, scarf, umbrella, acrylic stand, fabric poster and postcard book. Everything is bought in Korea and shipped from our Seoul office.

god released Chapter 1 (1999, “To Mother”), then Chapter 2 (1999, “Love and Remember”), Chapter 3 (2000, “Lies”), Chapter 4 (2001, “Road”) and Chapter 5: Letter (2002). Next came An Ordinary Day (2004) and Into the Sky (2005). After nine years without an album, the group returned in 2014 with Chapter 8 (“The Lone Duckling”, “Sky Blue Promise”). Their latest album is Then & Now, released on January 10, 2019 for their 20th anniversary.

The official god lightstick

The official god lightstick is now at Ver.2. Korean fans call it “Hapungbong”, a nod to the sky blue balloon that has been the fan god symbol since the group's early days. You will also find its carrying pouch and the mini light keyring here. For other groups, head to the lightstick collection.

god on stage

god still fills arenas. The ICONIC BOX concert took place on December 5 to 7, 2025 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, then on December 20 and 21 at BEXCO in Busan, all sold out. In late May 2026 the group celebrated 10,000 days since debut at Everland with “Sky Blue Balloon Week”. Before a show, take a look at our Kpop Calendar.
