BT21 was born in 2017 from the collaboration between the members of BTS and the Korean designers of LINE FRIENDS. Not just a simple marketing mascot: each member designed their own character, with their personality, tastes, and little quirks.
Each BT21 character carries a part of the soul of its BTS creator. RJ the cuddly alpaca of Jin, CHIMMY the puppy of Jimin, TATA the alien of V, SHOOKY the cookie of Suga, MANG the masked pony of J-Hope, KOYA the koala of RM, COOKY the boxing rabbit of Jungkook, and VAN the guardian robot who watches over the whole group and represents the ARMY.
