This fabric mask transforms the concentrated essence of the Balancium range into a creamy form for an express barrier treatment.

Ceramide NP (Ceramide 3) — a structural lipid that mimics the natural composition of intercellular cement. It fills micro-cracks between cells, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and restores the integrity of the epidermis weakened by cold, harsh actives, or environmental stress.

Panthenol (Provitamin B5) — a precursor to pantothenic acid that quickly penetrates to soothe diffuse redness and maintain stable hydration levels. Combined with ceramides, it enhances their healing action.

Allantoin — a gentle keratolytic molecule that promotes physiological exfoliation without irritation. It softens rough areas and prepares the epidermis to better absorb subsequent actives.

Sodium Hyaluronate — the sodium form of hyaluronic acid with a reduced molecular weight, capable of diffusing into the upper layers of the dermis to plump skin texture and maintain a lasting moisture film.

Olive Oil (Olea Europaea Fruit Oil) — an emollient rich in squalene and vitamin E that nourishes without excessive occlusion, ideal for combination or sensitive textures.

☀️ Morning routine

1. Cleanse your face (micellar water or gentle gel)
2. Apply a moisturizing lotion (skip the acid toner that day)
3. Unfold the mask and adjust it over your entire face, smoothing the edges well
4. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes while you prepare your coffee
5. Remove the mask, gently pat the remaining essence until absorbed
6. Seal with a light cream if needed, then apply SPF without fail

🌙 Evening routine

1. Double cleanse (oil then foam) to remove makeup and pollution
2. Gentle toner (no chemical exfoliant just before the mask)
3. Apply the mask for 15-20 minutes in cocooning mode
4. Massage the remaining essence with upward movements
5. Finish with a sleeping cream or facial oil if your skin is very dry

Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week, or as needed after a retinol/AHA session to soothe tightness.

Avoid if you are allergic to bergamot derivatives (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia essential oil listed at the end of the INCI) or if you want a long-lasting mattifying effect on a very oily T-zone.

As soon as the mask is removed, the skin texture regains suppleness and softness to the touch — the "cardboard skin" effect disappears. Diffuse redness fades thanks to the combined action of panthenol and ceramides.
