A plant native to Southeast Asia, Heartleaf concentrates amino acids and polyphenols with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. At this concentration, the extract neutralizes bacteria responsible for breakouts while strengthening the skin barrier.

Quercetinol 10,000 ppb (Quercetin)
A flavonoid antioxidant extracted from the heart of Heartleaf by ANUA, it targets redness and soothes existing inflammation. Its molecular structure allows rapid penetration into the epidermis.

Salicylic Acid 0.5% (Salicylic Acid + Capryloyl Salicylic Acid / LHA)

☀️ Morning routine

1. Moisten your face with lukewarm water (never hot, to preserve the barrier)
2. Take a small amount of foam, emulsify between your damp palms until you get a dense creamy texture
3. Massage the face in circular motions for 30 to 60 seconds — focus on the T-zone, chin, and sides of the nose
4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, then finish with a cold water splash to close the pores
5. Pat dry (never rub) with a clean towel
6. Apply your toner then your sunscreen

🌙 Evening routine

1. If you wear makeup or sunscreen: start with a cleansing oil (like ANUA Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil) for the first step of double cleansing
2. Then apply the purifying foam following the same protocol as in the morning
3. Leave on congested areas for 20 seconds if needed (forehead, chin)
4. Rinse, then follow with your active serum and night cream

Frequency: daily morning and evening. If your skin feels slightly tight the first few days (adjusting to BHAs), limit use to the evening only, then gradually increase.

Is the texture really "grainy" as some say?

The formula contains 3,000 ppm of finely ground Heartleaf powder, which creates a slight grainy sensation to the touch — but the micro-particles dissolve upon contact with water during massage. This texture allows for gentle mechanical exfoliation, comparable to an enzymatic scrub but more subtle. After rinsing, no rough residue remains.
